"Blooming" plants for an Asian-inspired garden? (Zone 8)?
I need some ideas for my garden plants Asian-inspired. I found tons of ground covers and grasses and things that do not produce flowers. Now I'm trying to find some plants with color is expected to attract butterflies, but it is necessary to fit the theme of Asia, and they need to thrive in Zone 8. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Forgot mention, I'm wanting flowering plants.
I always think of lilies, wisteria, plum, chrysanthemum, rhododendron, cherry blossoms, peonies and poppies first time in relation to the gardens of China and Japan.
