Why is my basil wilt?
I have it in a container through the window of my kitchen. I replanted after purchase from the garden of a center a few weeks ago and initially I was doing well. I've been pinching the leaves of the top and did not allow the soil to dry. The land is still wet at the moment so I can not Rewat – However, the basil leaves are wilting. I also used miracle grow plant food in the mix to pots. What can I do to remedy the problem? Or what if something went wrong?
No hint of basil in the background as mentionedhere .. You pinchthe tops as soon as you see the two new sets of sheets foring right under it .. this then triggers two new peaks .. then the two new peaks pop out as soon as they set a new pair of leaves below them then the creation of 4 new shoots up .. Your problem may be 1 of 2 things … The drainage in the pot is not adequate and basil not like "wet feet" .. It does not matter a bit damp but not wet … Another may be that you have basil so near the window or at an angle to the sun increase is so strong through the window .. you are possibly "fry" is ..
