Can vegetables / fruit sealed in 3'x3 'Rubbermaid container for 6 months is still used for a compost pile?
All organic wastes, except animal matter, had been collected and stored since the new year til June, anticipating the creation of an organic garden this year. Unfortunately, many home repairs delayed this effort (new roof, etc.). We created our compost bin, but not sure if we can add the stored material, as it has not had the airflow. Please let us know if it is feasible.
This should be well. Still going to rot, only delayed by keep it closed.
